TBI Most Wanted suspect arrested in Indiana

CLARKSVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

One of the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation's Top 10 Most Wanted was arrested Wednesday night in Indiana.

Danyon Lydell Dowlen was wanted in connection with a the September death of Charles Sims in Clarksville.

On Monday, a Clarksville officer received a tip that Dowlen might be living in Evansville, IN.

Multiple agencies, including the TBI and U.S. Marshals, arrested Dowlen at a residence in Evansville. Dowlen had a gun in his possession when he was arrested.

According to police, Sims had a relationship with the mother of Dowlen's child.

Dowlen is being held at a jail in Indiana and is currently awaiting extradition back to Montgomery County.
