INDIANAPOLIS (HawaiiNewsNow) - University of Hawaii swimmer Aimee Harrison competed in the 3-meter springboard competition but failed to advance to the final round of the NCAA National Championships, Friday.
Harrison is the lone representative of UH and is competing in her first NCAA Championships.
The freshman finished in 34th place with a six-dive total of 267.45 in the 1-meter event, but did not crack the top 16 needed to advance to the final round.
Harrison concludes her first trip to the NCAA Championships on Saturday when she competes in the platform competition. Prelims begin at 11:00 a.m. ET (5:00 a.m. HT).
