Rainbow Wahine Hoops season comes to an end in WNIT

SAN DIEGO (HawaiiNewsNow) - The UH women's basketball team came to an end, falling in round one of the WNIT, 61-49, to San Diego.

Hawaii guard Sydney Haydel led UH with 11 points and six rebounds.The usually dependable Kamilah Martin, struggled from the floor shooting just 3-17 from the floor while grabbing five rebounds. But the Big West first-team forward was not alone in missing the mark, as a team UH shot 31.6% (18-57) from the floor.

The Bows finish the season at 17-14 under first year head coach Laura Beeman who guided the program to it's first post season appearance in 10 seasons.
