INDIANAPOLIS (HawaiiNewsNow) – University of Hawaii diver Aimee Harrison wrapped the first of her three events at the NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships, Thursday.
The Rainbow Wahine freshman competed in the 1-meter springboard but failed to qualify for the first round.
Harrison is the lone UH representative at the meet and finished with a six-dive total of 222.95, a score that fell short of the top 16 needed to advance to the final round.
Harrison continues her run at the NCAA Championships on Friday when she competes in the 3-meter springboard. The preliminary competition begins at 11:00 a.m. ET (5:00 a.m. HT).
