Billy V: The Lion King and Bill Cosby Back in Hawaii

Posted: Updated:

(Hawaii News Now) - The Lion King is set to "roar" in Hawaii again. Sources tell us Disney's broadway musical will return for another run on Oahu.  No word on dates or a venue.  The production had a three-month run at the Blaisdell in 2007. Governor Abercrombie will make the official announcement next week at Washington Place.

Hawaii Five-0ʻs latest episode this past Monday saw Michelle Borth in short shorts and roller skates; and Duane "Dog The Bounty Hunter" Chapman guest starring. "Na Ki'i" saw a 5 percent increase in 18-49 ratings over the last new episode aired, February 18.

Bill Cosby is going to be at the Blaisdell Concert Hall on March 30; and tickets are on sale now.  Bill has got one show scheduled but a reliable source has told me, if there is enough demand, he would love to do a second show in Honolulu.  He will also be in Maui too; when we talked earlier this morning, he did mention how WONDERFUL the sound of our city is to his ears.
