HONOLULU – The Rainbow Wahine are tournament bound. Laura Beeman's squad will play at San Diego
on Thursday, March 21st in the first round.
This is the first time since the 2002-2003 campaign that the
Wahine will play in the postseason. It
will be their seventh WNIT appearance, and 12th postseason
appearance ever.
Should they advance, they'll play the winner of the Long
Beach State/Utah matchup.
The Wahine swept the season series against Long Beach
State. They lost to Utah by one point,
62-61, at the Stan Sheriff Center on December 1st.
