Tonight at 5: Deadly motorcycle crash, Wet weather ahead, North Korea defense

A man in his 40's died today after crashing his motorcycle on an off-ramp near Ko Olina. Mark Carpenter shows us what happened.


Kauai's waters have claimed another life.  A 35-year-old man died while spear fishing.  This brings the total number of drownings to 10 so far this year.

 
Parts of the Big Island got pounded with heavy rain.  Jen Robbins is in for Guy and says we may be in for a wet weekend.


The Defense Secretary says the U.S. is beefing up its missile interceptor defense system. White House officials have said they doubt North Korea has nuclear weapons capable of hitting the U.S. but they don't want to downplay the possible threat.
