A months-long repaving project involving the parking lot at the Honolulu is slated to begin on Monday, March 18.
The job is scheduled to start with the side of the lot closest to Kapahulu Avenue. This portion of the project is expected to be completed sometime over the summer, likely before mid-July.
Visitors to the zoo will still be able to use the side of the lot closest to the zoo itself, though the lot will be changed to one-way entering from the makai side of the lot and one-way exiting through the mauka side.
Signs will be available to help assist traffic and visitors. Additional parking is also available in the metered stalls at the Waikiki Shell lot.
