2 Texas men sought for sex assault found in Hawaii

CORSICANA, Texas (AP) - Authorities say two North Texas brothers have been arrested in Hawaii as they were attempting to board a flight and flee charges of sexually assaulting a young girl.

Corsicana Police Chief Randy Bratton says 43-year-old Tarius Manuere and 40-year-old Noah Manuere were apprehended Friday as they prepared to board a flight in Honolulu to the South Pacific islands of Micronesia.

The alleged female juvenile victim is described as a "tween" relative to the Manuere brothers. The victim is currently four months pregnant and the father is suspected to be one of the brothers.

Authorities had been searching for the brothers since early January. Bratton says police received word Thursday about their flight plans.

The suspects are each facing a single count of aggravated sexual assault of a child. The alleged crime occurred over a period of time in Corsicana, about 50 miles south of Dallas.
