We have sunny skies to start our
Aloha Friday on Oahu. It is a much different story for other parts of our
island state.
A cold front moving in from the
west has reached Kauai with light to moderate showers. The front and its
moisture will continue the trek eastward and is expected to reach Hawaii Island
by Sunday. Along the way it will drop some moisture and there is always a
chance the showers will be heavy and perhaps cause some flooding.
Unstable air aloft is enhancing
some pre-frontal showers over Hawaii Island. Consistent rainfall there has
triggered a Flash Flood Watch. There are a number of other advisories in effect
as well.
