HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A Flash Flood Watch remains in effect for the Big Island of Hawaii until 6 a.m. Saturday.
Meanwhile, a flood advisory for the Puna and Ka'u District was allowed to expire at 3:30 p.m. after heavy showers moved eastward and offshore.
The rain is ahead of a cold front that is moving west to east across the island chain. Flash flooding could be possible on the Big Island overnight Friday into early Saturday morning, said forecasters.
