Honolulu (HawaiiNewsNow) - The UH women's basketball team celebrated senior night with a 53-43 victory over Cal State Fullerton Saturday.
Head coach Laura Beeman started all four of her seniors who each contributed to the win. Senior forward Vicky Tagalicod scored 11 points, senior forward Stephanie Ricketts added four points, guard Monica Deangilis chipped in three assists and a steal, and Kanisha Bello logged a rebound, steal and assist in their final appearance at the Stan Sheriff Center.
Meanwhile, the future of the Bows led led the way for Hawaii as junior forward Kamilah Martin poured in a game-high 18 points while grabbing 12 rebounds and Shawna-Lei Kuehu scored 11 points.
Hawaii finished the Big West regular season at 13-5 and improved to 17-12 overall with its sixth win in its last seven games. It will be the third seed in the conference tournament next week in Anaheim, Calif.
