Rainbow Warriors draw 5th seed, UC Irvine in BWC tournament

Honolulu (HawaiiNewsNow) - The Rainbow Warrior basketball team finished as the fifth seed in the Big West and will play fourth-seeded UC-Irvine, Thursday, March 14th to open up round one of the conference tournament.

The Bows (17-14, 10-8) split the regular season series with the Anteaters (18-14, 11-7), with both teams winning on their respective home courts.

The teams will play at the conclusion of the #8 CS Fullerton vs #1 Long Beach State game which is slated to begin at 4pm H.S.T.

NOTES: The Cal State Fullerton-Long Beach State quarterfinal game will be delayed on Fox Prime Ticket and Fox College Sports Pacific, airing immediately after the Hawai'i and UC Irvine quarterfinal game.  All other quarterfinal games will be live on Fox Prime Ticket and Fox College Sports Pacific.
Friday's 6:30 p.m. semifinal will be televised live on ESPN3 and will air delayed on ESPNU immediately after the conclusion of the 9:00 p.m. live semifinal on ESPNU.
