HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

Hundreds of passengers have been reportedly stranded on Oahu for the past two days after an Allegiant Air flight continued to be delayed.

After some mechanical problems delayed Flight 1068 to Fresno, California on Friday, the airline put up passengers in a hotel for the night and told them to come back the next day.

The same mechanical problems ensued with the replacement plane on Saturday that was set to depart at 11 a.m. Passengers were later told to board the plane, only to exit again.

After delays continued, passengers were given a meal voucher around 4:45 p.m.

Passengers say they have been told the airline will not reimburse them because the flight was delayed and not canceled.

The flight finally took off at 11 p.m. Saturday night after being delayed for 36 hours.

More Allegiant Air flights that also experienced delays Sunday, including flight 1053 from Stockton, which will not depart on time due to a  crew rest issue. Flight 1062 to Boise was also delayed due to mechanical issues.

Passengers were also left frustrated Monday morning when their flight to Mesa, Arizona was delayed until 8 a.m.

Flight 1063 from Boise is tentatively scheduled to arrive in Honolulu Monday at 2:05 p.m.

Allegiant flight 1571 to Las Vegas was scheduled to depart at 5:50 p.m. Monday after being delayed since Saturday due to more mechanical problems. The airline was able to switch the plane out for another. The flight took off at about 9 p.m.

Two of the airline's six 757's are having mechanical problems.
