Calling all poets and poets-to-be! The Honolulu Zoo Society is holding
a Haiku poetry contest now through March 22, 2013, to help name Moxy's three
lion cubs, which were born in December of 2012.
Children ages 8 to 13 are invited to enter their best lion inspired
haiku for a chance to choose a name for one of the three lion cubs. Entries will be accepted in three different
age categories: 8-9 years, 10-11 years and 12-13 years. One winner per age
group will be selected and eligible to pick a name for one cub from a list of
names provided by the Honolulu zookeepers.
All entries must received by March 22, 2013 to be eligible to win.
