With most of the same team that has won two straight league championships returning this season, the mission for the Albany Panthers this year is to make it three straight championships.
The first step in the mission is Saturday night when the Panthers open the PIFL season at Louisiana.

"During training camp we have been all anxious in anticipating how we are going to do in the first game. See where we are. We are very anxious to see what his going to happen on Saturday," said linebacker Larry Edwards.
Game time is 8:00 p.m. Saturday at Lake Charles, Louisiana.
