It's time to take a moment to thank Hawaii's Better
Business Bureau for publishing detailed content of consumer complaints and
business responses in its current reviews.
Research has shown that consumers were looking for
more detail about businesses and the types of complaints that businesses
received and how those were resolved.
The complaint details, which will be online starting
this month, will give everyone the chance to judge the merit of the complaint
and to see how the businesses responded.
As general manager of a business that serves the
public, I applaud the better Business Bureau and its efforts. Anything that
sheds light on bad business practices keeps everyone on an even playing
field....
