HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The 20th ranked University of Hawaii softball team (11-5, 0-0 Big West) split its Saturday doubleheader on the second day of the Bank of Hawaii Invitational at the Rainbow Wahine Softball Stadium.
Jessica Iwata and Jazmine Zamora both launched home runs to help lift UH over Campbell in their first game, 8-5.
Kaia Parnaby (9-2) earned the win over the Fighting Camels.
But in the second game, UH fell to Memphis, 5-0 with Keiki Carlos suffering the loss that dropped her record to 2-2 on the season.
The Bows will play Memphis Sunday at 11am.
With a win, UH could play for the tournament championship at approximately 5pm Sunday.
