Rainbow Wahine holdoff CSUN

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The University of Hawaii Rainbow Wahine basketball team overcame a sluggish start to hold on for a 69-60 win over Cal State Northridge Saturday night.

UH (15-12, 11-5 in the Big West) notched their fourth win in five games and maintained control of third place in the conference standings.

Kamilah Jackson led the Bows with 15 points while Shawna-Lei Kuehu logged her second double-double of the year with 12 points and 10 rebounds.
The Rainbow Wahine will close out the regular season with a pair of home games next week, beginning with a meeting versus UC Riverside on Thursday, March 7.

Tipoff is set for 7:00 p.m. at the Stan Sheriff Center.
