Baseball Bows snap 12 game skid

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (HawaiiNewsNow) - The Rainbow Baseball team finally got one.

The Bows beat Loyola Marymount 8-3 Saturday, earning their first win of the season and snapping a 12 game losing streak that dated back to the 2012 season.

UH (1-10) got a big day from Kalei Hanawahine who logged three hits, two runs and two RBI.

Corey MacDonald (1-1) pitched a complete game, allowing one earned run on five hits while striking out five.

UH closes the Rebel Classic on Sunday against host UNLV at 6:05 p.m. PT (4:05 p.m. HT). The 'Bows will remain in Las Vegas following the tournament and conclude the trip with a single non-conference game against UNLV on Monday.
