POPE'S LAST DAY
Pope Benedict XVI will do something no other Pope has done in 600 years today. He will retire. We'll bring you live coverage from Rome and have in studio analysis from Father Jack Ryan, starting on Sunrise at 5.
After 47 years, Byron's Drive Inn will serve up its last oyster and shrimp burgers tonight. Long lines have circled the restaurant since the closure was announced. Jennifer Robbins will be live at Byron's this morning for their last breakfast service.
BREAK FROM THE WINDS, SURF'S UP
We'll get a break from the strong winds today, but it will be short-lived. Dan says they'll pick up by tomorrow. Surf's also building. Unfortunately, it's not good enough for the Eddie. The holding period closes today so big wave riders won't get the call at Waimea Bay again this year.
