(Hawaii News Now) - Join the Kamehameha Schools for a celebration of Hawaiian Culture at the 83rd Annual Ho'olaulea. This is a FREE event open to the public. Students and families come together on the majestic Kapalama Heights to celebrate family and perpetuate the Hawaiian culture. Live entertainment will include some of Hawaii's top entertainers such as the Taimane Gardner, Naupa Greig, Ben and Malia, Kapena and the Polynesian Cultural Center. Enjoy the best of Hawaii's foods from the Hawaiian plate, Korean plate, bbq sticks, malasadas and the ever so popular Kamehameha School brownies.
The younger keiki can enjoy the large inflatables, slides, rides and crafts. Shop to you drop at the country store, haku lei, silent auction, garden shop and the outer island specialties like Kaua'i Kulolo, Moloka'I Bread, and Kona Coffee.
Proceeds from the Ho'olaulea will fund enrichment programs for the Kamehameha Schools.
