Crews suspend search for missing Navy SEAL

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Oahu rescue crews suspended their search Sunday for a Navy SEAL who went missing off Kaena Point on Tuesday.

He was separated from his unit during open ocean swim training exercise.

Coast Guard, Navy and Marine Corps crews continued to search for him through out the week with Honolulu Fire Department and Ocean Safety. They searched more than 24,000 square miles using aircraft, cutters, small boats and shore personnel.
