HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The wind has been causing quite a few problems lately, including leaning poles and fallen trees that are affecting traffic.
Honolulu police say Cleghorn Street between Kapuni street and Liliuokalani Avenue in Waikiki was closed earlier due to a leaning HECO pole.
N. Kuakini Street was also closed between Lanakila Avenue and Alaneo Street due to leaning HECO Pole.
HECO was notified and conducted the necessary repairs.
In Kalihi, traffic was being rerouted through Kamehameha Shopping Center due to a downed light pole on Likelike Highway, which affected 700 customers.
