Manoa (HawaiiNewsNow) – Ashleigh Karaitiana hit a
three-pointer with 14-seconds remaining in overtime as the Rainbow Wahine
Basketball team beat Pacific 74-71 to claim a share of the top of the Big West
standings.
Hawaii (13-11, 9-4) was led by forward Shawna Lei-Kuehu's 17
points, 8 rebounds and 2 steals. Kamilah Martin added 16pts, 12 rebounds and 2
blocks, while Karaitiana and Monica DeAngelis chipped in 11 and 10 points
respectively.
Next up, the Bows hit the road for a pair of games beginning
with UC Santa Barbara on Thursday Feb. 21st, followed by Cal Poly
San Luis Obispo on Saturday Feb. 23rd.
