STOCKTON, Calif. (HawaiiNewsNow)– The University of Hawai'i men's basketball team
lost guard Brandon Spearman, their lead and eventually the game to Pacific
Saturday night. The Bows dropped its second straight road game with a 80-71
loss at the Spanos Center.
Right before the conclusion of the first half, Spearman attempted to block a shot by Lorenzo McCloud and landed awkwardly on his left ankle. The guard was carried off the floor and never returned to the game.

Standhardinger bounced back to lead UH with 20 points and nine rebounds. Isaac
Fotu scored 12 points and Vander Joaquim added 10 points, but
was held scoreless in the pivotal second half. Travis Fulton led three Tigers
in double-figures with 23 points.
UH will now take a break from Big West action to return home and host Northern Arizona in a non-conference game on Saturday, Feb. 23. Tipoff is set for 5:00 p.m.
