KAHALA, OAHU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Honolulu police shut down Kahala Avenue for several hours early Sunday morning after a car crashed into a coconut tree.
The crash left a 29-year-old man in critical condition. Two other men, ages 28 and 44, were taken by ambulance in serious condition.
Police shut down Kahala Avenue between Hunakai Street and Koloa Street from 4:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. while they conducted their investigation. No word if drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash.
