Rainbow Wahine Hoopsters fall flat on road

Kamilah Martin posted 12 points and grabbed a season-high 19 rebounds, but it wasn't enough as the University of Hawai'i Rainbow Wahine basketball team lost to UC Irvine, 64-52, on Saturday afternoon at the Bren Events Center.
With the loss, UH slips into a three-way tie for second place with Cal Poly and UC Santa Barbara.
UCI's Jennifer Tsurumoto led all scorers with a career high 27 points on 7-13 shooting and 10-12 from the free throw line.
UH now returns home to host a pair of games next week at the Stan Sheriff Center. The 'Bows take on UC Davis on Thursday, Feb. 14 then play Pacific two days later.
