H-1 lane closures planned for Sunday

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow)

The state Department of Transportation advises Oahu motorists that two left lanes will be closed on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Pearl City/Waimalu Off-Ramp (Exit 10) and the Waipahu Off-Ramp (Exit 8B) on Sunday, February 10, through Monday morning, February 11, from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., for viaduct deck repairs.

A third lane will be closed from 6:30 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Two left lanes will be closed in the eastbound direction from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. from the Kamehameha Highway Overpass to the H-1 H-2 merge.

Motorists are advised to use caution while driving through the work area and to allow for extra travel time. Roadwork is weather permitting.
