HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A long-term pediatric care facility is among the 27 customers being affected by a water main break in Ewa Beach that happened early Wednesday morning, according to the Honolulu Board of Water Supply.

Kulana Malama is a pediatric facility that provides care for medically fragile children in a residential setting, according to the facility's website. A spokesperson says that there are 26 adolescent patients currently at the facility.

Water is currently available only from a nearby water wagon.

A Zippy's restaurant and 25 residential homes are also being affected by the break, which closed down a portion of Karayan Street in Ewa Beach at around 1:40 a.m. Wednesday.
