HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -
A nightclub owner charged with assaulting a Pro Bowl player says he is not guilty.
Michael Miske Jr. entered the plea on the second degree assault charge in circuit court Monday morning.
The 38-year old is part owner of the M nightclub at Restaurant Row.
He is accused of hitting Washington Redskins tackle Trent Williams with a champagne bottle on January 25. Williams wasn't able to play in the Pro Bowl due to his injuries.
Miske's lawyer says some players were unruly and rude to female workers and customers and started a fight when they were asked to leave.
Sources tell Hawaii News Now that Honolulu police are investigating several pieces of camera surveillance equipment outside the nightclub that went missing after the fight.
Sources say the Honolulu Liquor Commission is also investigating allegations that Miske threatened an inspector because he felt that the he was being unfair.
His record includes 10 convictions and six felonies, including credit card fraud, theft, kidnapping and assault.
