Severe Weather Continues, Brown Water Advisory, High Surf Warning

SEVERE WEATHER: FLASH FLOOD WATCH

The Flash Flood watch continues for Oahu and Maui County through 6 tonight. The National Weather Service says rain will start to taper off for Oahu, but because of yesterday's downpour, it won't take much more wet weather to cause flooding. Parts of Maui County could also see thunderstorms. We'll have team coverage starting on Sunrise at 4:30 with Dan Cooke tracking the radar and Ramsay Wharton reporting on the effects. You can also download our Hawaii News Now Weather Now app to stay on top of the forecast.

BROWN WATER ADVISORY

A Brown Water advisory is in effect for Oahu due to all the rain. The State Department of Health warns the public to stay out of flood waters and storm water runoff due to possible overflowing cesspools, sewer manholes, chemicals and other associated flood debris.

HIGH SURF WARNING

If the brown water's not enough to keep you out, maybe the choppy conditions are. A high surf warning is up for north and west facing shores of Oahu, Kauai, Molokai, the Big Island and Niihau and north facing shores of Maui.

NIGHT OF MAGIC & MIRACLES

The miracles of Saint Marianne are being celebrated with a special magic show. We'll have a preview this morning at 7:50 with John Hirakawa.
