HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

Diss ‘em, Danno.

In an appearance on popular late night talk show Chelsea Lately, Scott Caan, one of the stars of CBS' Hawaii Five-0 reboot, had a few not-so flattering things to say about living in the islands where the show is filmed.

Caan, who portrays Danny "Danno" Williams, was talking about his girlfriend with Chelsea Handler, the show's host, when she asked him if the couple liked living in Hawaii.

"No, I don't and she doesn't either," Caan said. "Everything is very slow motion. Everything is too relaxed for me. I like to hustle, and there's no hustle there."

From drug problems to surfing, Caan had few positive things to say about Hawaii.

"Surfing in Hawaii is different. It's more like survival," said Caan. "They ask you ‘How was your surf?' and you say ‘I made it.'"

Caan also said the food in Hawaii "sucks."
