(HawaiiNewsNow) - For the third consecutive year, a group of legislators are sponsoring a free tax assistance site at the Hawaii State Capitol on Saturday, January 26, on the third floor of the State Capitol building from 9am to 2:00 pm.
Eligible taxpayers can have their federal and state tax returns prepared for free by trained and IRS-certified volunteers who work under the free tax assistance program operated by HACBED - The Hawaii Alliance for Community-Based Economic Development.
For more information about this site or about the many other free tax assistance sites which HACBED and its partners operate throughout the State or to make an appointment, go to www.hawaiitaxhelp.org or contact the Program Director at 381-0881.
