EMR-Matrix.org offers doctors and health systems a unique way to evaluate, test and read reviews of electronic medical record software systems that are crowdsourced from other clinicians and health systems using social networking and quick polling.
Seattle, WA (PRWEB) January 19, 2013
EMR-Matrix is pleased to announce the launch of the brand’s new website: http://www.emr-matrix.org. The January 2013 launch is scheduled to coincide with the upcoming HIMSS and mHealth conferences. EMR-Matrix.org is a website designed by clinical minds to allow other clinicians to share their reviews of electronic medical record software systems and compare each system against the other.
In 2011, 54% of physicians had adopted an electronic health record (EHR) system. About three-quarters of physicians who have adopted an EHR system reported that their system meets federal "meaningful use" criteria. Eighty-five percent of physicians who have adopted an EHR system reported being somewhat (47%) or very (38%) satisfied with their system and nearly one-half of physicians currently without an EHR system plan to purchase or use one already purchased within the next year.
The new website offers a unique way for doctors and health systems to evaluate, test and read reviews of electronic medical record software systems as well as provide feedback on their own experiences with their existing EMR and practice management systems. Unlike other site, EMR-Matrix is user content driven and strives to provide the most candid feedback possible about each EMR system.
EMR-Matrix.org is a resource for clinicians who are looking for EMR/Practice Management systems and need candid, real reviews from other clinicians. “This is the first social networking website focused on crowdsourcing EMR reviews and comparisons clinician to clinician,” says Adam Pellegrini, Founder of EMR-Matrix.org. “This site leverages state of the art technology to compare electronic medical records and provide simple ratings on what really matters.”
Other innovative functions include a “hot or not” voting functionality that allows providers in one click to vote for their favorite EMR. This “http://emr-matrix.org/emr-hot-or-not/ ” EMR comparisons is the next generation in providing rich data on the best systems. Hundreds of clinicians already have voted for their favorite EMR.
EMR-Matrix.org is the only EMR comparison website that has fully functional demo’s of EMR Systems, like OpenEMR, for clinicians to test drive themselves. In the coming month, EMR-Matrix.org will launch enhanced social networking capabilities as well as EMR comparison coaches who will help providers find the best fit for their practice.
