HONOLULU – Vander Joaquim became the 15th player
in UH men's basketball history to eclipse the 1,000 point plateau Thursday
night. Joaquim scored 16 points to reach
1,007 for his career as UH snapped a 2-game losing streak, downing Pacific
60-52.
The Rainbow Warriors are now 10-7 overall, 4-2 in Big West
play.
Gib Arnold's team got a lift from Ozren Pavlovic and Hauns
Brereton as well. Brereton scored 8
points in the first half, while Pavlovic added 7 before intermission. The ‘Bows led at the break, 30-29.
