WAIALUA, OAHU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

Honolulu Police are investigating a frightening home invasion in Waialua.

Police say Wednesday night three masked men wearing bandanas barged into a home on Kokea Circle at about 9:30.  A 66 year old man was beat with the butt of a gun.  Then he and his 60 year old wife were tied up.

The three men, armed with a handgun and rifle, ransacked the house looking for money and valuables.

The Police Department says preliminary findings indicate there is no relationship between the thieves and victims however residents find it suspicious the criminals were hiding their faces.

"I have a feeling it's probably what we would call in house, someone who is in the area. They probably surveilled it from a friend's house, or their house, so they kind of concealing their identity just so they won't know it's them," said Manu Giltner, Waialua Resident.

The couple was not hospitalized.  Neighbors are concerned and plan to be more vigilant.

The suspects are wanted on 1st degree robbery and kidnapping charges.  If you have any information regarding the case call the Honolulu Police Department.
