SOUTH POINT, HAWAII (HawaiiNewsNow) - Rescue crews are searching for a man who fell from a cliff Sunday night while fishing off Ka Lae Point in South Point on the Big Island.
The National Guard, Coast Guard and Big Island Fire and Rescue crews continued their search on Monday for the 67-year-old man.
Officials say the man fell 20 feet from the cliff; he was last seen by other fishermen in the area. They lost sight of victim approximately 50 yards offshore because of darkness.
Rescue crews were called to the scene just before 11 p.m. but could not find the man.
