HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -
The National Weather Service in Honolulu (NWS) has canceled a flood advisory for the island of Oahu.
Forecasters say weather radar showed that heavy rainfall has moved east of Oahu.
NWS says that showers, with locally heavy rainfall, will continue today across many areas of the state ahead of an incoming cold front. The cold front will usher in drier and more stable air as it moves down to the middle of the state Tuesday and dissipates.
Forecasters say light to moderate northerly flow is expected Wednesday through the weekend. Weak cold fronts dropping south in this flow will bring chances of brief showers into the weekend, but mainly dry weather is expected to prevail.
