High Surf, New Union Hotel, Golden Globe Talkers

HIGH SURF ADVISORY

Strong surf and trades are churning for east facing shores. Ocean Safety officials will decide this morning whether to reopen Hanauma Bay. It's been closed since Saturday due to dangerous surf. Dan says the surf will start dropping today, but that there will be two swells this week that could trigger more advisories for north and west facing shores.

FIRST UNION CONTRACT FOR PACIFIC BEACH HOTEL

Pacific Beach Hotel has approved its first ever Union contract after a long drawn out labor dispute. For 10 years, management fired union organizers, defied National Labor Relations Board orders, and repeatedly made employees reapply for their own jobs. Howard Dicus will outline the details and significance on Sunrise.
