HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -
A stretch of the Likelike on the Windward side of the Wilson Tunnel remains in the dark Monday morning, and state Department of Transportation officials say they have no timetable for when repairs will get underway.
The streetlights along the Likelike between the intersection with Kahekili Highway and near the Wilson Tunnel have been out for at least a week, motorists say. The state says they are aware of the problem, but are awaiting parts they had to order from the mainland to fix the problem.
Electronic signs have been placed along the roadway, warning motorists that the lights are out.
