HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Two left lanes will be closed on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Pearl City/Waimalu Off-Ramp (Exit 10) and the Waipahu Off-Ramp (Exit 8B) on the following Sundays: Jan. 13 and Feb. 10.
The two left lanes will be closed from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., for continuing repairs that include concrete demolition and pouring of new concrete. This work is part of a major project to rehabilitate severely damaged portions of the H-1 Freeway Pearl City and Waimalu Viaducts.
Motorists are advised to use caution while driving through the work area and to allow for major delays. Roadwork is weather-permitting. For more information, visit www.pmcontraflow.com or call the project hotline at (808) 945-1144.
