EWA BEACH, OAHU (HawaiiNewsNow) -
Investigators are trying to
determine what sparked a 50 acre brushfire Saturday evening in Ewa Beach. The fire was first reported after 6:30 p.m.
along North Road near Iroquois Point and Fort Weaver.
It took fire crews four
hours to gain the upper hand; the fire was declared under control at about
10:40 p.m. and contained an hour later.
No one was injured, and no
structures were threatened.
