HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -
A High Surf Advisory has been extended until 6 p.m. Monday for the east facing shores of all Hawaiian islands.
Forecasters at the National Weather Service say strong trade winds will keep surf very rough and exceeding advisory levels along east-facing shores.
Surf heights of 7 to 10 feet are expected
You can expect strong breaking waves, shore break and strong longshore and rip currents that will make swimming difficult and dangerous.
Beachgoers, swimmers and surfers should heed all advice given by ocean safety officials and exercise caution.
As forecasters say …Know your limits...when in doubt...do not go out.
