Loved Ones Meet to Share Coping Strategies and Provide Support
Abington, PA (PRWEB) December 31, 2012
Gilda’s Club Delaware Valley at Abington Memorial Hospital hosts “My Spouse Has Cancer,” a support group for men and women with partners and spouses living with cancer. The support group meets on the second Monday of each month from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Abington Memorial Hospital in the Garden Training Room, located on the ground floor of the Widener Building.
Gilda’s Club provides a free meeting place where men, women and children living with all types of cancer, and their family and friends, can join together to build social and emotional support. Being with others in a community affected by cancer can decrease isolation and anxiety and increase empowerment.
For more information or to register, please call Gilda’s Club at Abington Memorial Hospital at 215-481-6700.
