26th Annual Event Raises Funds to Help Medically Underserved People in Local Community
Greenville, SC (PRWEB) December 30, 2012
In the lobbies of three Greenville hotels, flashes of light and tinsel vie for attention and for design awards in the 26th Anniversary Festival of Trees. With 90 sponsors and 86 designers “putting on the Ritz,” 86 trees graced the Hyatt Regency Downtown, the Hampton Inn & Suites RiverPlace and the Courtyard-Greenville Downtown. Through the donated efforts of local interior decorators, designers and florists along with sponsor employees and local school children, the Festival of Trees is aglow in the gem tones of the season, drawing families and schoolchildren from throughout the Upstate.
A panel of judges from the community had the difficult task of selecting winning trees in four categories: Business, Professional, Organizations and Schools. Awards were based on creativity, unique design and overall presentation of the tree. The “Overall Best Tree” for 2012 was awarded to the Pepsi of Greenville tree designed by Jacqueline Osborne of AAA Locksmiths & Alarm Company. (See the complete list of winners in all design categories, included.)
