Kauai police plan to reopen Kuhio Highway just north of Limahuli Gardens Thursday evening after a day of searching for Justin Wynn Klein.

The 37-year-old suspect has been at-large since Sunday afternoon when he reportedly threw a Japanese tourist off a cliff near Kalalau Beach. The woman is now in stable condition at Wilcox Hospital.

Klein is described as a Caucasian male, 6 feet 1 inch tall, with brown hair in a Mohawk style. He has a band style tattoo around his left arm.

Klein is considered dangerous and should not be approached.

Anyone with information on Klein's whereabouts is asked to call the Kauai Police Department at 241-1711. Tipsters can remain anonymous by calling CrimeStoppers at 241-1887.

CrimeStoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for anyone who provides information resulting in Klein's arrest.

The Kee Beach trailhead remains closed.
