The American rock band Everclear is hold a benefit concert and silent auction at 8:00 pm on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at Hawaiian Brian's Showroom in Honolulu. 100% of the proceeds will be donated to Kapi'olani Medical Center's "Campaign for Hawai'i's Children" to fund the renovation of the state's only infant and pediatric ICU units.
Led by front man Art Alexakis, the Portland, Oregon band is known for a decade of radio hits including alternative rock top top-10 singles "Wonderful," "Father Of Mine," "I will Buy You A New Life," and "Everything To Everyone" that still enjoy regular radio airplay.
Tickets will be $30 and $60 for VIP seating which includes a meet and greet before the concert. Only 1,000 tickets and 100 VIP seats will be available with ample parking in the structure behind 24-Hour Fitness on Kapi'olani Blvd.
Last December Everclear's Honolulu concert raised $12,000 for Leukemia patient Tony Harrison who needed a bone marrow transplant and has since fully recovered. "Tony is a living example of Everclear's passion for using their music to save lives." says Promoter Dustin Schoedel. Schoedel is the Director of Marketing of the Hawai'i beverage manufacturer RZO, LLC that gathered industry partners to sponsor the event so that all monies raised would go directly to Kapi'olani Medical Center's ICU fund.
