HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

The Hawaiian Humane Society is offering a $2,000 reward after receiving reports that someone used a BB gun to shoot at cats at the Hawaii Kai Park & Ride.

Witnesses tell the Humane Society at least one cat was shot, but then ran off.

The Humane Society says the suspect is described as a local male, possibly Asian, probably in his 50's, about 5'7" and 160 pounds. They say the man was seen wearing a tank top with a large black dog.

The incident happened in December and the Honolulu Police Department has been notified.

If you have information on this case please call the Humane Society at (808) 946-2187.
