LEXINGTON, KY (WAVE) - A man who survived the war in Afghanistan and was awarded a Medal of Honor was injured in an assault.
Former Kaneohe Marine and Green County, KY native Sgt. Dakota Meyer was treated at a hospital Sunday and reportedly needed staples in his head from cuts he obtained during the assault.
According to WLEX, the attack happened at a party of mostly college students Meyer was attending with his brother.
State police said they have a suspect and expect to make an arrest soon.
